The Center for Human Development’s mission is to support the delivery of services in Alaska by improving communication and networking within the provider community. CHD maintains a comprehensive list of Developmental Disability Providers, Mental Health Providers, and Aging Providers with information that is updated quarterly. Administration on Aging-Eldercare Locator

The Administration on Aging has activated a Website to help the disability field by providing consumers with basic contact information about elder-service agencies at state and local levels by zip code requests. This is an excellent site for individuals trying to identify appropriate senior services in their area. Click on www.eldercare.gov for more information.

Alaska Special Education Directors & Community Resource Providers

The Alaska Department of Education and Early Development maintains current contact information for Alaska Public Schools and Districts to further support communication between families, agencies and visitors.

Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority

The Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority administers the Mental Health Trust established in perpetuity. It has a fiduciary responsibility to its beneficiaries to enhance and protect The Trust and to provide leadership in advocacy, planning, implementing and funding of a comprehensive integrated mental health program to improve the lives and circumstances of its beneficiaries.
